  • Information

    French Pink Clay

It is very effective for mature skin. It also helps to reduce puffiness to eyes and dark circles under eyes. Pink Clay is also great for dry skin because it doesn't over dry the skin like most clays. It has gently cleansing and detoxing and skin softening benefits for those with sensitive skin types. The essential oils:

    • Lavender: Calms irritation, promotes healing, and reduces acne.
    • Chamomile: Soothes inflammation, hydrates, and helps repair skin.
    • Geranium: Balances oil production, tightens skin, and prevents acne.
    • Rose: Hydrates, brightens, and reduces signs of aging.
    • Frankincense: Firms skin, reduces wrinkles, and helps heal scars.

    Using

This face mask is a soft, creamy balm that massages into the skin superbly well, and you could use in two different ways, if you so wish.

Option one: massage the creamy base into your skin as-is, and leave it there for 15–20 minutes before rinsing off (you’ll want to use a cloth to get it fully off). This method creates more of an soothing, softening, moisturizing masking effect with a bit of light physical exfoliation on the wash-off. This is a great masking option for people who don’t like the tightening sensation you get with clay masks that contain water.

Option two: is adding a bit of water into the mask, thus creating more of a traditional dries-on-the-skin clay face mask experience (it's still a much gentler drying effect than plain clay with water). One method of doing this, is to massage the creamy base into your skin and then mist your face with plenty of your favourite hydrosol. Then use your fingertips to massage the hydrosol into the mask a bit right on your face. What ever works for you.
