Many consider it a natural Retinol???

Bakuchiol, one of the components of Bakuchi oil, it is often compared to retinol although more research is still needed to fully support this claim.

What is Retinol?

When it comes to anti-aging skincare, there is one ingredient that stands out above the rest: Retinol, a derivative of vitamin A, which has been used for decades in skincare formulations to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin texture, and even out skin tone.

Whilst there is no doubt that Retinol can improve skin texture, reduce hyperpigmentation, prevent acne, it can also cause skin irritation, make the skin more sun sensitive, can be harmful to developing fetus - a no no for pregnant women and can cause blistering in extreme cases.

Bakuchi oil's Bakuchiol component on the other hand, has no side effects.

With Bakuchiol you can enjoy the benefits of Retinol without the potential side effects. It is gentle on the skin, safe to use during the day, and a natural ingredient derived from the babchi plant.
